WokShop 25th-27th June 2004 , Kouvola, Finland

This was the second time LC Finland organised a summer meeting called WokShop. As always the weather was as warm and nice as it gets only in Finland. This time we got together in Kouvola, OD´s homehome and participants came from LCs Helsinki, Tampere and Oulu. Also starring was a German guy.

On Friday afternoon began the madness and few beers were enjoyed. LC Oulu was still on the road. The evening went nicely drinking beer and watching different kind of mating habits on a laptop. Early in Saturday morning the last of the people finally passed out after hours of sauna and world enhancement only to wake up few hours later to the next sunny day.

Saturday was truly a happy day. After a trip to local supermarket, we had a good stock of beer. Then began the EESTEC happy time: Sun was shining and music was loud. We started the day by going to an amusement park nearby. Most of us were not on the mood for roller coasters but there were lots of other and funnier things like pigs and sheep. Also climbing frame was nice place to hang out. There was a lake too where we went to swim.

The whole gang spent the afternoon at the homehome playing nice Finnish traditional outdoor games, eating beefburger and continuing to try to consume all the beers and the punch we had bought. Someone had brought a bottle (1,5l) of Serbian beer, which was a nice surprise. At least LCs Budapest and Madrid were informed of our good time in the WokShop.

After a busy day became a busy evening that included among other things naked lettu baking and Midsummer dances (with real people at dance pavilion). The night went nicely in sauna and then the sun set and rose and almost all were soundly asleep until they woke up and it was the third day -the departure.
