LC Helsinki has represented in international EESTEC events since the yearly 90’s without missing a year.
EESTEC Congress is an annual meeting with approximately 110-150 Electrical Engineering and Computer Science students representing their local EESTEC group. It’s the most important event in the year. Its main purpose is the discussion of current internal and external affairs, as well as the goals and plans for the upcoming year. An important part of the Congress is the election of the new board and bodies of the organization.
The Congress includes so called International Day event where each of the LCs represent the activities of their own school. In case of LC Helsinki, this has been Aalto University or Aalto predecessor Helsinki University of Technology, TKK. Many people have taken their international studies in Aalto just because they know local EESTEC actives within the school – Not to talk about life-long relationships forged during Congresses.
